Places and stories

I draw places I’ve seen, I’ve lived in or that simply fascinate although I’ve never seen them. I let myself be carried away by the stories linked to them and I enjoy turning them into little theaters in which to hide traces of true or fantastic stories.

Cities and places are portrayed through the stories and images of memory.

It is in us that the landscapes have a landscape. Therefore if I imagine them I create them; if I create them they exist; if they exist I see them. Life is what we make of it. Travel is the traveler. What we see isn’t what we see but what we are.
